Keepin' It Real Wednesday

Making chicken fajitas.....

One final bite at the end and it needs more zing....

So I grab some more chili powder from the counter and pour it on.

(I have found that it is hard to use too much chili powder).


Only, I didn't grab the chili powder.

(It is not hard to use too much ground red pepper.)





Someone please send in my application for this show. Ask Joshie to recommend me.

ACK! I've SO done that before. I actually came home to dinner in the crock pot and it had burnt quite a bit. WHO CAN BURN FOOD IN A CROCK POT? Boo. We're gonna have to order in pizza so I have energy to wash the crock pot now. Boo.

Dang. I did that to shrimp once. It was SPICY!!!:)

OOPS! I've done that with cayenne before... and I am the wimp in the family so I couldn't eat what I cooked.

Oh, I can't tell you the number of times I've put in too much ground pepper! I always forget that it is SO much more potent than chili powder!

It was way too spicy for even me, and I can handle more heat than anyone else. I ended up rinsing it off in a colander, heating it back up, and serving it. Actually worked out!
