Hot Day

It was eighty degrees yesterday. I forgot how hot 80 feels in March, and I dressed my boys way too warmly for a picnic in the park. It was crowded with kids in shorts and besides a few moments of fun here and there, we were all a little miserable.

When we got home and the kids asked if they could play in our sprinklers, I immediately said, "YES YES YES!!"

It was blissful.

Wow- it's been windy, cold & they are talking about a "late winter" storm. Please no more snow!

Yeah, those first few days of warm spring weather feel HOT. And our house has not been warmer than 70 degrees all winter, so as soon as those temps rise I'm really gonna be suffering when our house warms up!

Man - who did your sprinkler install? Did the guy leave a card or anything - top notch, professional work.

Funny chad, cuz I was just thinkin the sprinkler job looked a little pathetic... lots of water on that sidewalk ;) Our grass is perfectly green without a drop hittin the cement ;)

That was on purpose Lindsey. We have to get it across the sidewalk to get the grass on the other side because we couldn't run a line through the sidewalk.

Yup! These high 80s have been feeling awfully warm and it's so funny because that's when we'll be breaking out the long pants in the fall!

I don't even know how to turn my sprinklers on. But this week I think we are still ok bc it's supposed to rain and be cold all week. Still, 45 felt awesome today:)
