Like my cape?
My little superhero, on Mother's Day, posing with the real superhero of the last eight months. Oh beloved Lansinoh, how would I ever survive without you?Even Chad knows to buy the purple box when he goes shopping for me!
Only breastpads I will buy! They rock. I just wish I would stop leaking and I could stop buying :0)
All I shall say is... Bless Your Heart! I was never much of a leaker!Love the superhero! Such a cutie!
i never had to wear breastpads... i also had very low supply, go figure. very cute picture though. maybe someday after the move lily and i will come meet that cute boy.
I've been on the same box since I had Elizabeth.
haha, i LIVED, ATE, AND BREATHED for lansinoh!!! i always give it with my gift bags at showers. i literally had a tube in every bag and in every room for the entire year of nursing, although i think i stopped using it around 8 or 9 months into nursing. is your box of the nursing pads??? it looks like it. have you ever heard of Lily Padz??? they are a little best kept secret! you can buy them at lilypadz.com or from Motherhood. they are one set of cilicone reusable nursing pads. they stick to your skin and you wash them once a day. i used to just wash them with dove soap when i took my shower or in the sink on days i didn't have time for a shower (what??? you don't shower every day....of course i do, wink, wink). so anyway, you should try them!!! i only had one pair for the entire year. i think i paid about $30 for them and they lasted the entire year. i'll buy a new pair for the next one. they rock! i used the disposable ones for the first 4 or 5 days, but once i put on the lily padz i was all, "holy smoke-ez!!!" it's just a really clean feeling. try them, you won't regret it! .....did i convince you to get them yet???;-)
Em - I have seen Lily Padz before I always assumed that they just couldn't be as absorbent and comfortable as Lansinoh. I am at 8 months postpartum and still leaking, so obviously I need something that won't leak! I am glad to hear your recommendation though - I will have to give them a try with the next baby.
I decided to try cloth ones this time around. I also have some disposable ones. My milk came in last night, so I'm sure we'll see today how well they handle my leaks! I have to wear breast pads pretty much the whole time I'm nursing, so I'm hoping the cloth ones work out and save me some money!
Ashley - you'll have to let me know how they work for you. I think we have very similar leakage issues.
